While we were within the Jardins des Trocadero we took this photograph showing some of the numerous walkways and grass areas within the grounds, plus some of the different varieties of trees providing much needed shade on a warm summer day.

You will find that some of the trees are very old, either having been planted before or at the time the Trocadero gardens were first laid out, although, as you can tell there are some younger specimens that have been planted in more recent times, in an ongoing program of maintenance that occurs in virtually every park and garden in Paris.
