We have mentioned before that the Jardins du Trocadero are located on a hill known as the Butte de Chaillot, with the Palais de Chaillot positioned at the top, but due to the nature of the area, it provides a great opportunity to have water features.

So this is a view looking in a northerly direction at a pond and a stream that flows through a part of the Trocadero Gardens in the north western section, which was designed to be informal and tranquil, bringing nature to life in what is referred to as an English style rather than the formal symmetry of a French style garden.
