This is a view looking in an easterly direction at a part of the Jardins du Trocadero with the gravel walkways between the different areas of greenery, and this type of path is very traditional being utilised in other gardens in Paris as well.

Also you can see a small part of a building to the left of the image, which is the Palais de Chaillot, located at the top of the hill within the Trocadero Gardens, which was constructed on the foundations of the old palace that was demolished to make way for this one that is now home to several museums including the Musee de la Marine.
