Here you can see the top part of the northern facade of the western wing of the Palais de Chaillot with a statue group called The Elements and quotes underneath in gold lettering that were by Paul Valery, and you can also find another statue by the same artist, Carlo Sarrabezolles within the grounds of the Trocadero Gardens.

Now when the Palais de Chaillot was constructed for the 1937 world fair, numerous different sculptors were commissioned to produce the statues and sculptures for the building as well as the re-designed Jardins du Trocadero, however, some of these were put in place after the official inauguration due to time restraint.
