This is a view looking in a north easterly direction over one of the two small square basins with the Horses and Dog statue, which are a part of the Fontaine du Trocadero, also known as the Fontaine de Varsovie, or in English the Warsaw Fountain.

Although the Trocadero Fountain is a spectacular sight when operational, there are times when this has to be drained of water for maintenance and cleaning, and it just so happened that this time while we were within the Trocadero Gardens, renovation works were being carried out.
