Here you can see one of several bas relief sculptures that are located on the Palais de Chaillot, which was constructed for the 1937 World Fair in Paris, and numerous different sculptors were commissioned for the task of making this palace and the Trocadero Gardens more elaborate.

In fact, this particular bas relief was one of the important sculptures that can be found above the entrance doors to the Theatre de Chaillot, which was sculpted by Charles Hairon who had also received a commission for a work at a previous Universal Exhibition in Paris.
