Here you can see one of several ponds that are located within the Trocadero Gardens that has been made into a feature with an irregular shape, old quarry stones and different shrubs, plus as you can see, there is also a bridge enabling you to get to the opposite side of this man made feature, which can be found in the north western corner of the gardens.

You will find that originally Paris only had four main parks and gardens that included the Jardin des Tuileries and the Jardin du Luxembourg, and it was Napoleon III who wanted to create many more green spaces for the benefit of residents, which is how the Jardin du Trocadero came about.
