This is a view looking in a southerly direction over a pond with the water from this travelling down a manmade stream within the Jardins du Trocadero, which as you can tell from the image is surrounded by different shrubs and trees.

You will be able to discover this particular water feature located in the north eastern part of the Trocadero Gardens, yet there is also another similar feature on the north western side, and although the gardens were originally planned during the transformation of Paris by Baron Haussmann, it was his successor, Jean-Charles Alphand who designed this garden.
