When the Jardins du Trocadero were created for the 1878 Universal Exhibition in Paris, numerous bronze statues were commissioned to recognised sculptors of the time and placed within the gardens, many of which can now be seen outside the Musee d'Orsay.

Yet the gardens were re-designed for the 1937 World Fair and entirely new statuary was commissioned for the Trocadero Gardens, including this one called La Joie de Vivre, which is located to the left hand side of the Warsaw Fountain as you are looking up the garden to the Palais de Chaillot.Hill of Chaillot.
