HD photograph of La Femme statue in Jardins du Trocadero looking south east - Page 15
Just below the Palais de Chaillot by the steps leading to the Jardins des Trocadero, there are two figures, one on each side, and this is a view we took while standing behind La Femme statue on the eastern side of the fountain looking towards the Eiffel Tower in a south easterly direction.

The Woman statue is resting on a stone pedestal and on the opposite side is one depicting a man in the same style of composition, yet both were produced by different artists, and there were numerous sculptors who were commissioned for statuary for the redesigned Trocadero Gardens and the new palace, with most being completed for the inauguration in 1937.
