HD photograph of stream water feature in Jardins du Trocadero looking north west - Page 101
Water features have played an important role within gardens and parks for centuries, whether it be ponds, basins, fountains, waterfalls or grottos, which were originally found within the grounds of royal palaces, yet over time public parks started to be landscaped in the same ways, just like the Jardins du Trocadero.

So here you can see a small part of the meandering stream water feature located in the upper part of the Trocadero Gardens on the north western side of the garden, which is actually at the side of the Palais de Chaillot, although this would have originally been next to the original Palais du Trocadero when constructed for the 1878 Universal Exhibition in Paris.
