This first HD photo shows a view looking down the walkway next to the Fontaine de Medici towards the Palais du Luxembourg, and to the left of the image you can see ivy that has been trained and cut in such a way that it looks like garlands.
There has been much thought go into the layout of the Jardin du Luxembourg and as you can tell, like looking through a window frame, the ivy provides a very different type of view into a part of the gardens, which we took looking in an easterly direction.
But standing on one of the meandering paths we took this photograph showing the Ivy Garlands that run along either side of the long pool that was constructed for the Medici Fountain, and this is just one of the unusual features you can discover in these pristine historical gardens.
And the entire garden is managed by the French Senate who employ a whole team of professional gardeners, botanists, landscape artists, etc who are highly trained and qualified, so that trees and bushes get pruned correctly and plants are nurtured for the enjoyment of everyone that visits this popular tourist attraction in Paris.
