Camping Utah Beach In Basse Normandie
Camping Utah Beach as the name suggests is located right by the seafront and the D-day landing beaches with the nearest sandy beach being only 200m away, so this is ideal for a family camping holiday in France.
However, not only are there pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, with some pitches being up to around 200m squared and have easy access for large rigs and RV’s, but there are also mobile homes and chalets you can to rent as well. Yet if you are thinking of the ideal place to take a group of people whether it be for a childrens adventure and knowledge base or a business seminar, then you will also not have to worry as there is a bungalow style building that has lots of different bedrooms all with bunk beds and can sleep up to 30 people, plus there is the option of having half or full board.
With so many different sites and places to visit locally, this is an ideal French campsite for those interested in history or nature and there is even an exotic bird aviary and a field of llamas on the site as well, plus there are organised outings to places like a lighthouse or the bird nature reserve available.
Activities on this campsite in France include a swimming pool and childrens pool, tennis, crazy golf, table tennis, a kids club in high season plus organised entertainment such as live music, sea kayaking and canoeing outings, sand yachting and laser-ball, which is similar to paintball, plus much more to keep anyone happy, but if you prefer the idea of a bit of relaxation, then you could also take advantage of the sauna and Jacuzzi or the health spa with massages available.
With free WiFi internet access where you just need to get a code from reception in order to access it so that you can keep in touch with friends back home, along with a bar, and a restaurant called Le Tinajo with a takeaway service, this means you do not have to worry about cooking for yourselves all the time and can relax even more, but there is a communal BBQ area if you do fancy some of your own al fresco dining rather than eating on the terrace or at your pitch.
