Camping l'Ille du Rhin Campsite In Alsace
Camping l'Ille du Rhin is located in a preserved natural reserve between Colmar and Fribourg and in between the Alsace Grand Canal and the River Rhine, so it is ideal for those of you that love nature, walking, cycling, fishing or boating.
This French campsite has over 200 pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes that are around 80 to 100m squared along with 14 mobile homes to rent that have a terrace and can accommodate up to four of five people.
Facilities on this campsite in France include a shop, fresh bread service, restaurant, bar and a takeaway along with a launderette and cycle hire and all of these facilities are open all season, not like some of the French campsites that only open all services at certain times of the year.
Also, when it comes to activities, you can enjoy the volleyball, badminton and basketball courts, the boules grounds, table tennis and table football plus there is an aquatic centre only 200m from the campsite, but we would like to point out that this is always closed for two weeks in September. However, in high season Camping l’Ille du Rhin organises sports tournaments and archery along with cycling, walking and rollerblading trips for even more added fun, not forgetting of course, that there are numerous sporting activities and places to visit in the local area.
