Camping des Berges de l'Iton Campsite
Camping des Berges de l'Iton in the Haute-Normandie region has a total of 62 pitches but only 24 touring pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents as the rest are for mobile homes and some that you can rent out if you do not wish to bring along your own touring van.
Set on the banks of the Iton, this family run French campsite will allow pets and is a quiet site that is ideal for exploring the Normandy area, with places like the historical city of Rouen not far away, but it does have an outdoor swimming pool, snack bar and childrens playground along with an area for the traditional game of petanque, also known as French boules.
Also within easy reach is the capital of France, Paris, Basse Normandie with the famous D-Day beach landings as well as other activities closer to hand like fishing, walking and cycling, for a relaxing camping holiday in France.
