Camping Lac du Salagou In Languedoc
Camping Lac du Salagou is, as the name suggests located right by a lake, and in fact this French municipal campsite is only 150m away from the 750 hectare lake and 5000 hectares of landscapes and nature.
This municipal campsite in France is open all year and has a total of 388 pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes which include gites and mobile homes to rent plus there are five dedicated parking areas just outside the campsite for motorhomes that just want to have a stop-over and these are at preferential rates.
Outdoor activities are the main feature of this municipal French campsite as there are numerous paths for waking and hiking, cycling and mountain biking, but water sports play a major role on the large lake Salagou, as you could enjoy sailing, canoeing and kayaking, catamarans, pedalos, windsurfing, etc, yet you could also do a spot of fishing providing you have a licence or go out on a fishing boat.
There are also other activities at different times of the year such as archery and from June to September, a snack bar where you could enjoy lunch and spend a bit of time relaxing before going back to the tranquillity of the campsite.
