Camping de Thuries In The Midi-Pyrenees
Camping de Thuries is a rural French campsite set in a valley and located in the Midi-Pyrenees region of France, it takes its name from the ruins of the Chateau de Thuries positioned on the top of the hill opposite the campsite.
There are a total of 37 spacious pitches for tents and caravans with some of them being next to the river for uninterrupted peace and tranquillity and others with stunning views of the cliffs and the chateau, which is what this campsite in France is all about, although there is also a bar and terrace, table tennis and a small childrens pool for added pleasure.
And due to its locality next to the river with direct access, it is ideal for canoeing and kayaking, plus you can actually hire the equipment from the campsite. But venturing into the local village will give you the feelings of a traditional French atmosphere where you can join in with local festivities and just enjoy the surroundings for a relaxing camping holiday in France.
