Camping Champ de la Chapelle In Auvergne
Located in the heart of an oak forest, Camping Champ de la Chapelle in the Auvergne region of France, has a total of 80 pitches that are spread over an area of three hectares with 60 of these pitches being suitable for caravans and motorhomes that have electric hook-ups at 10amp and their own water connection, plus these are a very good size from 100m to 200m squared. The other 20 pitches are designed for tents, yet tents can also utilise the other pitches as well.
On this French campsite you will find a swimming pool, small childrens playground, table tennis and a playing field suitable for all types of ball games such as football etc, along with a bar and snack bar hut with terrace, but around 5km away there is also a leisure lake, which has a beach and is suitable for swimming plus it is manned by lifeguards in high season.
However, the forest itself, with some trees being at least 300 years old, is ideal for nature lovers with its wildlife, the walking, cycling and even horse riding paths, not forgetting other local attractions such as castles and quaint towns, but the local village also has restaurants for a relaxing camping holiday in France.
