Les Vigeres Campsite In Limousin
There are over 60 acres of grounds at the French campsite Les Vigeres, however, only five acres are taken up for the actual touring pitches as there are only a total of 45 that are suitable for tents, caravans and motorhomes, so the rest of the area is great for walks in the forest or a picnic by the lakeside.
This is a family run campsite that has its own lake for fishing and its own beach area at the lake along with a little pier that you can moor a small boat, but there is also an outdoor swimming pool that has built in steps going down to the shallow end, which makes the swimming pool accessible to children as well.
Being open all year, it is ideal as a stopover if you are travelling further down through France, but there are also mobile homes you can rent if you do not want to tow a touring van, yet it is also an ideal campsite in France for relaxation, enjoying the countryside and the rich history of the surrounding area.
