Puy Rond Camping is a small family run French campsite situated in the Poitou-Charentes region of France that has pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, but they also have chalets that you can rent all year round.
It is a quiet and peaceful campsite, which has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and in high season the owners will take orders for fresh bread and croissants, and then deliver them directly to your pitch the following morning for that added personal touch that you do not normally get on most campsites in France.
Also, this French campsite is ideal camping site for exploring the area, and with numerous activities nearby to keep all the family occupied, from fishing only a five minute walk away, to visiting some of the different theme parks, including Futuroscope and the local historical town is only about a twenty minute walk away by going round a beautiful lake. But also on site you can take time out relaxing on the sun loungers at the pool terrace or enjoying a dip in the outdoor swimming pool that never really gets that crowded, even in the height of season.
