Camping de Besancon In Franche-Comte
Also known as Camping de la Plage in the Franche-Comte region of France, has around 110 pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, yet 10 of these are specifically for motorhomes, however, it seems that there is a very high cost involved for a pitch at this French campsite if you have a twin axle caravan.
However, Camping de Besancon has excellent facilities such as a motorhome service area, heated sanitary block, a launderette that even includes ironing board plus an iron is available, a shop and childrens playground, along with a municipal swimming pool that is open in July and August and free for campers to use, but it is the amount of activities and places to visit locally that brings you to this area.
