In a beautiful setting along the Loir yet only 400m from the local town, Camping Loir les Grands Pres in the Centre region of France, has 180 pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes that are spread over an area of more than 2.5 hectares in addition to the fully equipped tents and mobile homes to rent.

With numerous hiking and mountain biking tracks that start at this campsite in France, which are ideal to go and discover the area, but there is also table tennis, and a kids club six days a week in high season.
However, it is the rich history and culture with the amount of places to visit that draws people to the Centre region for a camping holiday in France, as you have chateaux like the renaissance Chateau de Chambord, with its horse shows and sound and light shows.
