Camping Municipal La Falaise
Camping Municipal La Falaise is also sometimes known as Camping Municipal d’Equihen-Plage and it is located in between Boulogne and Le Touquet in Nord-Pas-de-Calais, right by the sea and spread over an area of 8 hectares with 420 plots, but only around 100 pitches for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes although there are also mobile homes to rent along with bungalow style unusually shaped buildings that are disabled accessible and have views out to sea.
This French municipal campsite is suitable for RVs and large rigs on one particular part of the site, whereas another is designed more for small caravans and tents. There are also three different sanitary blocks, although one is only opened through July and August but they all have disabled facilities and one has a baby changing area with bath, yet we would like to point out that the showers require a token and these cost €1.50 per one which lasts approximately 6 minutes. Also the sanitary blocks are only open from 8am in the morning through to either 9.30pm or 10.30pm in high season, which personally we found very awkward.
However, this is still a very popular municipal campsite in France and booking is recommended for the high season as it is a firm favourite for families with young children as there is direct access within 150m to a beautiful and very large sandy beach and of course, it is not far to travel when crossing the Channel.
There is also a childrens playground and table tennis on the campsite, but numerous other activities and places to visit locally such as aquariums, aqua park with swimming pool complex, ice skating rink and more to keep all the family happy whilst on your camping holiday in France.
