Accessing Foxity Bus Tours
Foxity provide very reasonable priced bus tours in Paris for all the family, and as of 2014 the cost of a two hour city tour is only €17 and a day pass for the hop on and hop off service is only €20. Yet children between the ages of 4 and 11 are only a cost of €5 for every paying adult and under 4s are free.
The Paris by Night Tour with Foxity is a cost of €22, and the cost for the two hour tour along with the River Seine cruise is normally €30, although by booking online you can sometimes get discounts reducing the cost down to around €26. And for New Years Eve 2014 the cost of this unique bus tour was only €22 and half price for young children.
You will be pleased to know that tour run all year round, and as we mentioned before, even the upper deck is heated in the colder months and you can be sheltered from the rain and wind via the retractable roof and windows.
And when you book your tickets in advance with Foxity, you can also guarantee seats on the top deck, ensuring you get the very best possible views of Paris and its many attractions, and there are several departure times available along with different departure points including at The Louvre and The Opera.
But we would like to point out that children must be accompanied by an adult, and seatbelts must be worn at all times, yet very young children do have to sit on an adults lap. Now when it comes to public transport in Paris, to access the starting point of The Opera the nearest Metro station is called the Opera stop serving lines 3, 7 and 8 and the nearest RER train station is the Auber stop serving line A.
However, if you choose The Louvre departure point, then the nearest Metro stations are the Louvre - Rivoli stop serving line 1, the Pont Neuf stop serving line 9 and the Chatelet stop that serves lines 1, 4, 7, 11 and 14.
