These Hd photos show an entrance to the Palais Royal - Musee du Louvre Metro station with its original ornate entrance way that was first put in place at the very start of the 1900s, and the road you can see to the left of the image is the Rue de Rivoli.

Now in this next photo you can see the information board for this metro stop, that has Lignes 1 - 7 written on both sides next to the name of the station, and although this side of the board had a Paco Rabanne advert on it at the time, on the opposite side there would be a map of Paris showing the metro stations.
So this view gives you a greater perspective as to where this metro entrance is located, which as you can tell is right opposite the Hotel du Louvre and next to famous tourist attractions in Paris like the Rue de Rivoli with part of the Musee du Louvre building to the far left, yet it is within the square called the Place du Palais Royal, that is in the 1st Arrondissement of Paris.
And this last image shows a close up of the sign that states Metropolitain, which is actually the full name of the underground transport system in Paris, although most people now refer to these as Metro stations or tube stations in some countries.
